Modular offices and prefabricated office buildings are terms that can be confusing. These terms are names that different companies and markets have developed for these products over the years. For example in-plant office refers to a building inside a manufacturing plant. We are not sure where it originated but most of our industry doesn’t like it.

So whether you call them modular offices, portable offices, portable office building or mezzanine offices you are calling it one in the same. All of our products would be considered modular, portable, prefabricated, prebuilt, pre-engineered or KD which stands for “knocked down”

Guard Houses, Exterior Enclosures & Modular Buildings

Clean Rooms & Environmental Enclosures

Need an environmental test chamber, server computer room, or a research laboratory? Our cleanroom wall system is perfect for bio-safety laboratories, organic chemistry laboratories, pharmaceutical storage, and temperature controlled rooms. Our modular rooms can be class 10-10,000 rated for your dry rooms and your environmental test chamber.

We manufacture Cleanrooms and a variety of shapes and sizes for the pharmaceutical industry, research laboratories, temperature control rooms, dry rooms, environmental test chambers and biosafety laboratories.

Some Cleanrooms can be very large. There are some facilities that house one large Cleanrooms measuring thousands of square feet. They are used in so different industries. Semiconductor Manufacturing, life sciences and biotechnology are fields that are sensitive to environmental contamination.

Some walls within a clean room can be considered hard walls and some soft walls. Hard walls are considered rigid while soft walls are usually made up of poly propylene or other plastics.  In most Cleanrooms a anteroom or air shower would be the point of entry for all personnel.  Wearing protective clothing such as gloves, facemasks, boots, coveralls and facemasks may need to be used.

Air filtration is very important in a clean room.  Any error from outside needs to be filtered to remove any dust and particles the air may contain. Using HEPA (high efficiency particulate air) or ULPA (ultra low penetration air) filters removes any contaminants from the air.  A recirculation system increases the efficiency of filters.  A pre-filter is used to reduce large particles prior to the HEPA or ULPA filters. These pre-filters are commonly installed low in a curtain wall with a louvered vent.

Some Cleanrooms are kept at a positive pressure to ensure no outside contaminants enter the room. Others use a negative pressure to ensure no contaminants leave the room.  Having small gaps or crevices in a cleanroom is not always bad.  In a positive pressure room, any gaps under the door or anywhere else will leak air out.  The good news is no outside air coming in.

There are other types of requirements for some electronic industries.  ESD (electrostatic dissipative) or ionizers may be required to ensure no electric shock happens. Maintaining safety in these environments is crucial.  Bringing in outside common materials can bring additional particles into your room.  Paper, fabrics, shoes, pencils and other fibers should not be introduced to the Cleanroom if possible.  Cleanroom furniture is designed to not shed particles and be easy to clean.

Our Modular walls are panelized into sections to make segregating your offices easy. Our partition systems can be fully integrated with electrical and data.  Pre-manufactured door panels and window panels make your office partitioning easy.

We offer many other solutions. Need a steel mezzanine, smoking shelter, safety guard rail, or audio sound booth? How about a photography room, storage room, or working platform? Front lobbies and dressing rooms only touch the surface of the many custom applications we can design and build for you.

We manufacture many specialty steel products such as steel mezzanines, smoking shelters and our own Tufguard TM safety guard rail. Our mezzanines can be fabricated in various heights and load capacities.  Standard storage platforms are engineered for 125 pounds per square foot.  A 2-story building would be equipped with a 75 pounds per square foot floor load. We also manufacture stairways and landings for all applications.  A working platform can be a excellent option for expanding into that unused airspace in your facility.
