Smoking Ban/Smoking Shelters

More and more states are introducing legislation that bans smoking in public buildings. Even several states known for their tobacco exports are considering such bans. The state of Virginia is proposing legislation that will be introduced by David Eglin, D.-Alexandria in the coming months.

With such laws beginning to be enacted nationwide, we have to address the question of where employees and customers will smoke. We have all seen a group of individuals huddled around the front door of a business with an ashtray and a cloud of smoke surrounding them. For business owners this creates an unhealthy environment for their customers to walk through to enter their place of business.

Smoking shelter sales have skyrocketed in recent months throughout the country in the effort to provide a place for employees to smoke away from the entrance of their building.
